Hana-Lee Sedgwick is a freelance writer, editor and wine consultant from Santa Barbara, California. She is a regular contributor to various print and online publications, manages a team of writers for several blogs, and works with brands directly to create content that is unique and compelling.

After graduating with degrees in Fine Art and Art History from Santa Clara University, Hana-Lee enjoyed a career in digital marketing and event coordination, working client-side at Google and agency-side managing digital marketing campaigns for AT&T, GoDaddy and Expedia. A passion for wine and food led her to pursue the wine industry, working in winery sales and marketing and earning certifications as a Sommelier and Certified Specialist of Wine before transitioning her creative background into a full-time career in writing, editing and consulting.

Hana-Lee brings a wide range of experiences and perspectives to her work, utilizing her vast knowledge of the wine, food and travel industries to create and share stories that engage with readers. Whether writing freelance feature articles for magazines or working directly with clients to develop high-quality content that is authentic to each brand, Hana-Lee continually demonstrates a strong work ethic and a positive, “can-do” attitude.

Hana-Lee is a fifth-generation Californian from Santa Barbara who now splits her time between Santa Barbara and Idaho. When not working, she happily spends her downtime exploring the West Coast and beyond with her husband and two kids. You can follow along on IG @wanderandwine.
